About Us
Our Mission
TYES empowers and supports families and caregivers of gender expansive youth by providing resources, education, outreach, and advocacy, in order to create supportive environments that allow youth to experience the joy of authenticity.
Who We Are
We’re glad you found us! TYES is a Colorado statewide group supporting all gender expansive (non-binary & binary transgender, gender fluid, gender questioning, genderqueer, agender, bigender, pangender) youth and by providing peer support to parents and caregivers; and social support for gender-awesome kiddos and their siblings.
Founded 12 years ago by the mother of a 7-year-old transgender daughter, TYES remains a primarily parent-volunteer run support network dedicated to helping parents and primary caregivers support their gender expansive youth, and to help families find the information, resources, and understanding they need.

All donations help TYES keep services free to our families. Contributions always directly support our programming for families, including: parent-to-parent peer support groups throughout Colorado, family picnics or gatherings, and our annual family camp.
